Nesting...

So I've always heard about this "nesting" that takes place during pregnancy for most women and if you know me I could have sowrn it would NOT happen to me! Ask either of my roommates from college or Jason! They all know how much I despise cleaning! Well the time has come yesterday I left for work at 6:30 in the morning because we had a meeting before school started and I didn't get home until 6:00. Yes I did leave work at 4 yesterday and stopped to get a pedicure (much needed might I add) but then once I was home is was 6 pm by this time I had to get to work again!

And by work now I mean cleaning our enitre house aka nesting!!! My mom came over too and kept me company while I cleaned and she also made some banana bread for me!!! I cleaned everything from the pantry room and laundry room to our closet!!! And man do I wish I had those electrolux washer and dryers that Kelly Ripa advertises I could have gotten so much more laundry done!!!! That's to worst part about cleaning to me I HATE doing laundry!!! I was even do busy that I wasn't even hungry mom had to remind me that I needed to eat something!

If your wondering why I was such a crazy pregnant woman nesting last night it's because some of our best friends are moving back to Tennessee this weekend and are going to be spending their last couple of nights at our house since the movers come today to pack up all their goodies! And I am having my first baby shower at our house on Saturday too! Lots going on this weekend and I just had to have it all cleaned up before it all started. I knew that I wouldn't have time tonight to clean because I have a track meet I have to coach at and probably wont get home until 10ish! YUCK!!! But all in all I did get the house company ready and it only took me 5 hours!!!

Now that I am so over this nesting phase!!! Please stay gone unless my hubby will get me a maid once a month!!! I told him it would be my gift for the year if he did that so I wouldn't have to clean! So if you see him tell him to agree with me and get me a maid!!! Thanks and that's it for now!

Boy or girl? First kick...

Well it's almost December and that means we are closer to finding out what Baby Sutherlin will be!!! I am so excited and ready to start decorating the baby's room! I think we have finally decided what we are going to do for a boy or if it's a girl! I'm just ready to know!!!!

On a side note I have been feeling it move around a little bit here and there but nothing significant until last night. After my basketball game and I gt home and ate dinner I finally sat down to catch my breath and thump! I felt it hit or kick me! Probably getting back at me for yelling so much during my basketball game a couple hours earlier but oh I was excited! It is just the first of many I'm sure!

Starting the most wonderful time of the year...

This last week was thanksgiving break for me at school and it was much needed!!! I got a lot of rest and had a lot of fun as well!

Monday I had another Dr. visit and everything seems to be going great! The only problem at the moment is te scars on my stomach are stretching and and scar tissue on the inside is breaking up and there is nothing I can do to make it feel any better! :-(

Tuesday I got to have a wonderful morning and lunch with my college roommate Erin and her little girl Brooklyn! We had a great trip to the Fort Worth Zoo and then lunch with her hubby "boy" Aaron! I love them so much and so thankful for the time that I get to spend with them!

Wednesday was also fun I got to spend time running errands with my mom and got everything ready for thanksgiving dinner. I even went to my in laws house to learn how to make Jason's favorite thanksgiving dressing!

Thursday morning we had some of our best friends over for thanksgiving breakfast! We sure are going to miss them when they move next year!!! I love them all like family so that will be tough not to see them whenever I want. And their oldest girl Maddie is like our best friend she can always put a smile on our faces! After breakfast I got the rest of our dinner that we were bringing ready and it was time to head to mom and dads! After dinner there we went to Jason's parents house and hung out with all the Sutherlin's!

Oh and of course Friday! I love Black Friday!!! My dad and I get up super early this year 2:30am to go shopping. Target always has great deals and we even went to best buy and dick's sporting goods this year! Then it's off to Joe's coffee shop for breakfast always around 6 something and then back to bed for the rest of the day!

So for the most part my Thanksgiving was very busy but a lot of fun with family and friends! I wouldn't trade it for the world though maybe a little more sleep but that would be about it!

and now there's 3!!!!

Yep that's right i'm back in the blogging world and it's all thanks to our baby on the way!!! Yes we are going to be a family of 3! Sounds crazy to me still but today we had our little one's first picture taken and we able to hear the heart beat! It was super fast and very strong!!! It's little arms were moving like crazy already waving hello to mommy and daddy! If I can figure out how to put the video off of our phones on here I will! Until then we are back and I'm sure I will be blogging way more often!!! Baby Sutherlin should be here on Easter Sunday!!!

Dinner ideas???

Valentines day is right around the corner and I was wondering if anyone knows any good recepies? I think we are going to stay in for dinner insteand of going out and spending tons of money on a dinner! I mean it's nice and all but this is only the second year in our newish house and we like hanging out at home! So let me know if you have any good dinners we might just try one!

Track

So today started the first day of track season. How you ask because of the weather well you really can't do much indoors in our little gym but we are trying to make it work! Oh and by the way our track season started today and lasts until April 9th! And we are only having 4 track meets!!! That's a crazy long track season but at least our kiddos will be in shape(i hope)!

Why you ask? Well because today is the last basketball game of the season! I do love coaching and all but it's even more exciting when one more season is over and under your belt! Now it will be on to Track and then SOCCER!!! So excited the year is more than half over!!!
